3 toy rotating cranes, VHS-Tapes

Three toy cranes of different heights, placed close together, all move slowly in the same continual circular direction. The toy cranes stand right next to a pile of discarded, used video cassettes, scattered around on the floor. Additionally, the soft mechanical sound of the motors operating the toy cranes, complement the installation sensorially. The discarded cassettes suggest both the fast paced mobility of technological change, but equally so, almost wistfully, reflect on the notion of transience in the contemporary media age.

Drei Kräne die gegengleich rotieren und veraltete VHS-Datenträgen die 40zig Jahre Video wiederspiegeln sind Bestandteile dieser Installation.
